Let's imagine your next professional event in Bordeaux!
Between vineyard and ocean, Bordeaux is the gateway to the South West of France and the epitome of the sweetness of life. A jewel of eighteenth-century architecture, the city has reinvented itself in recent years to establish itself as the destination of choice for professional events.
Cannelés, Aquitaine caviar, oysters... Our specialties make Bordeaux a true symbol of the French way of life. Voted the number 1 BEST OF city by Lonely Planet in 2017, Bordeaux is also the breeding ground for a young, arty, trendy alternative culture that jostles and reinvents the "Port of the Moon", the nickname comes from the shape that takes the river Garonne flowing through the city. Ambitious urban projects inspire architects and designers. To the North, the Bassins à flot are bringing life back to the old Bordeaux docks, around one of the newest emblems of the area: the Cité du Vin. To the South, Bordeaux Euratlantique is gradually becoming an economic heart of the city next to the train station. This new district has already attracted the regional headquarters of major companies and complements the tech start-ups, industries and innovative research laboratories around the metropole, with our 11 international clusters and 60 sectors of excellence.
The city offers 16,600 bedrooms & 7 congress centres to host events of all sizes and many outstanding venues in the wine properties, on a boat on the river, etc.
